Temad Co. is one of the companies of Tamin Pharmaceutical Holding (TPICO) from the large economic family of SHASTA and affiliated with the Social Security Organization. Temad Co. is the first and largest producer of narcotic and non-narcotic API in country, with a history of nearly three decades of service in the pharmaceutical industry and 15 knowledge-based products, supplying a significant portion of the active pharmaceutical ingredients needed by the local market. Temad company has exported to 56 countries in 5 continents, including China, India, Canada, Germany, Belgium, South Korea, Japan and South Africa. In addition, winning provincial and national awards for top exporter, environmental certification, human resources, recognition for Iran’s four-star quality, and social responsibilities are among the honors of this company. Currently, Temad company has 2 production sites and 20 production lines, with its site and headquarters located in Alborz, and produces High Tech, LV-HV and narcotic drugs at the Alborz site and mass product (high tonnage) drugs at the Mashhad site. Temad company produces more than 101 types of pharmaceutical products including narcotics, non-narcotics, corticosteroids, alternative drugs for addiction, antibiotics, digestive, cardiovascular, vitamins, neurology, painkillers, active ingredients of veterinary drugs, pellets, semi-finished and finished products. It also has a reference laboratory license (Accordity) and produces its products according to GMP standards and rules and WHO regulations in the field of pharmaceuticals, and controls and evaluates them based on the latest international standards USP, BP, EP, IP and JP.
This company is proud to be the first and largest producer of narcotic and non-narcotic pharmaceutical raw materials in the country. Since 1996, it has been actively present in the country’s pharmaceutical industry in two major categories: active ingredients (API) and semi-finished products (pellets and DCs). In order to expand its business scope with an eye on export markets, it has been active in production of finished products since 2017.
